“With 1 in 4 babies in Oklahoma living in poverty, Miki Farris works passionately to insure babies and toddlers don’t go to bed hungry or in a dirty diaper. Miki co-founded Infant Crisis Services in 1984 in a basement classroom in a church in OKC. She is now executive director of Infant Crisis Services located at 4224 N Lincoln Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73105. She spent the better part of three decades providing not only baby formula, food and diapers for Oklahoma City metro area’s smallest in need, she also holds, rocks and loves on babies as a large part of her day at the office. Miki has grown the organization to also provide: classes and other free informational resources to new parents; car seats, including professional installation and training; and two baby mobiles to take food, diapers and formula to seven counties. She has spread the word about Infant Crisis Services far beyond Oklahoma City and the metro area which has spurred like entities or shared entities in other cities within Oklahoma. Miki is one of the most unselfish people you will ever meet with every decision made for the benefit of the babies and toddlers serviced by Infant Crisis Services.
