You may have heard how excited we are about the KIDS COUNT Power Lunch. That’s because we really are excited.

From 12:00pm – 1:30pm, on Wednesday, September 4 at the Pioneer Center in Weatherford; we will be hosting our first KIDS COUNT Power Lunch.

We’ve assembled an expert panel of  three local leaders in Custer County who will be speaking about the well-being of children. Experts who will speak at our KIDS COUNT Power Lunch in Weatherford include:

  • Mayor Mike Brown, City of Weatherford
  • Superintendent Matt Holder, Weatherford Public Schools
  • Carolyn Bennight, Oklahoma Department of Human Services

We will also be highlighting state and local data surrounding children’s issues, answering your questions and offering helpful instructions for effective child advocacy practices. We strongly believe your participation in these discussions is key as we approach the legislative session and build our children’s agenda.

If you are in the area we would love to have you join us. If you haven’t already registered, now is the time to do so!
