Parent programs for those struggling to know how to raise their children and teach them the way.

I helped develop the Leflore County Coalition for Healthy Living especially for Leflore County Children and working on issues relevant to our area. We have approximately 5- members from the community and state and county agencies that meets monthly. I was chairman for 10 years and just came off. We have set up programs for children and their families to receive the help they need to help get their family’s back on the right track through Systems of Care.

What will you do to support families in your new role, if elected?

Criminal justice reform to ensure children are taking care with loving homes. State recognizing when a family relationship can’t be repaired between parents from a bad relationship with their children. Tax credit help for people willing to take in children and raise them as their own.
