What ideas do you have to better the lives of Oklahoma’s children?

As a child welfare worker, I have seen first hand how education plays a vital role in a healthy family and home environment. When education is a priority, the family flourishes and when families are strong it makes our state strong. At the foundation of any great society there has been a focused emphasis on education. I will support and promote education.

What have you done to support children prior to this election?

I have worked as a Child Protective Services worker with the Department of Human Services and with the Developmentally disabled as a volunteer and as an employee. I have also worked with troubled teenagers and their families through many different programs.

What will you do to support families in your new role, if elected?

I would support restoration of the earned income tax credit. I have and will always be an advocate for families and children. I will work for improvement of our foster care system programs and efforts for family reunification or adoption, whichever is in the best interest of the child.
