The Oklahoma Institute for Child Advocacy (OICA) and Let’s Fix This will be leading Child Advocacy Day at the Oklahoma State Capitol on Wednesday, May 9th from 9 am – 4pm. The morning will kick off with an advocacy training, then we will disburse to speak to lawmakers about child related issues. There is no advocacy experience required to join us! We will give you all that you need to be an excellent advocate for Oklahoma’s youth!

At 11:30 we will head to the Governor’s Pavilion for our 35th Anniversary Lunch! Hear from our own Laura Choate, OICA Board Member and plaintiff in the Terry D Lawsuit that created OICA, as well as Kid Governor Audrey Patton. Due to the security at the Governor’s Mansion, all seats must be reserved in advance. Lunch is a suggest donation of $100.
