Do you want the chance to visit face-to-face with Oklahoma’s lawmakers as they consider policy affecting Oklahoma’s children? Then it is time to mark your calendars for the OICA Chili Cookoff and Advocacy Day at the Capitol! 

Slated for March 11 at 11:30 a.m. in the South Parking Lot of the State Capitol, attendees will have a chance to enjoy some of the best chili anywhere as cooks from organizations across the state prepare their delicious recipes in a competition to be the best.

Lawmakers, members of the judiciary, and executive branch officials will mingle while enjoying chili and talking policy.

In the afternoon, advocates will walk the halls of the Capitol, with addditional chances to discuss critical children’s policy issues with members the 2025 Oklahoma Legislature!

This is a great opportunity for visibility as a sponsor or participant. It is free to enter as a chili cook. Sponsorships - which include listing as a Sponsor on the official t-shirt, in social media, and in our e-newsletter - are as follows:

Bell Pepper - $100 (Name only on t-shirt)
Chili Pepper - $250 (Sponsorships $250 and above include your logo on t-shirt)
Cayenne Pepper - $500
Jalapeno Pepper - $1,000 (Sponsorships $1,000 and above also Include a page sponsorship in the 2026 OICA Desktop Calendar)
Habanero Pepper - $2,500
Ghost Pepper - $5,000
